  4. TAQUIN.TBK --
  5.         This venerable game has delighted millions for decades.
  6. This implementation was created by Brent Wayland for his daughter.
  7. It illustrates how easy it is to create functionalilty in ToolBook.
  8. Brent illustrates several little "tricks" to get plenty of flash
  9. but still use the basic strengths of OpenScript.  This program
  10. should provide a great guideline for expansion of this game or
  11. creation of your own favorite.

  13. ALARMS.TBK--
  14.         This will make a great addition to your DayBook programs.
  15. Written by Jeff Day, this  book lets you set alarms in DayBook and
  16. autodial phone numbers. To use it, just run ALARMS.TBK.  By default,
  17. it will work with the DayBook file C:\TOOLBOOK\DAYBOOK.TBK.  Alarms
  18. can be set in the Day and Month views. By the way,  it runs in the
  19. background.

  21. To set up ALARMS.TBK:  You can access the setup menu by clicking on the
  22. Setup... button and holding down the mouse button.  To tell alarms which
  23. DayBook to use, Select "DayBook File Name..."  If your DayBook file is called
  24. c:\TOOLBOOK\ELLIOT.TBK, then enter that name into the dialog box.

  26. Set alarm:  set the focus to the field in Day or Month view for which you want
  27. to set an alarm.  Click on the Set Alarm button.

  29. Clear alarm:  click in the field that has an alarm you want to clear.  Click
  30. on the Clear Alarm button.

  32. Autodial:  Setup your modem from the setup menu.
  33.  
  34. Auto Set Alarms:  This selection on the Setup... menu will automatically set
  35. alarms for all the appointments entered in the current view.

  37. Colors and Position:  Try them.

  39. SPEED.TBK--
  40.         This book will help you optimize your ToolBooks for guess what!  Written
  41. by Jim Gallant , this book is crammed with ideas and hints on  putting your
  42. programs in "TURBO" mode.  Check out the scripts for details once you have
  43. walked through the book.

  45. TIMELINE.TBK--
  46.         This "quick and dirty" project schedule program was a collaboration
  47. between Bert Kolde and Walt Knowles.  It can be the kernel for a much
  48. larger application or just a fast event notation application as it stands.
  49. A nice clean approach to get you started.

  51. CLOCK.TBK--
  52.         Here's another Booklet from Jeff Day.  This one is pretty, useful
  53. and best of all ready for customizing!
